SocialCash has been in stealth mode for the past year, but was just released into the wild. The team can be found in their natural habitat mostly in D.C. but also in San Francisco and New York. Here’s a snapshot of our story:
2007
- May: Facebook opens up the platform, we start building apps and use our monetization technology to make tons of money
- September: Our FreeCondoms app pioneers virtual currency monetization, and gets 800K installs lickety-split
- December: We launch BannerCash to help other developers monetize and are serving over 350 campaigns across the world in a flash
2008
- March: Beta BannerCash partners love our eCPM and we start scaling like whoa
- April: SocialCash running on over 1,000 applications and serving millions of ads daily
- June: Official SocialCash launch and debut of PointCash – our virtual currency monetization platform
